What is PAT Testing?
PAT Testing (Portable Aplliance Testing) is a procedure to ensure that any appliance connected to the mains power either fixed or with a plug is in a safe state for use.
Electrical Testing
Periodic inspections and testing are covered in Part P of the Building Regulations and does not concern any portable aplliance.
PAT Testing
PAT Testing is only concerned with appliances and is nothing to do with the fixed wiring of the property behind the plug socket.
